Welcome to Lake Worth Christian School Preschool!
Lake Worth Christian School believes in Growing Christian Leaders. We take that vision seriously starting in Preschool. We offer Full and Part time 3-year-old and VPK programs. Our loving staff teaches a foundational curriculum geared toward preparing students for a successful school career and a love of learning!
Throughout the day your child is immersed in developmentally appropriate hands-on activities, including Bible/Daily Devotions, phonics, mathematics, circle time, guided seat work, learning centers, science activities, food experiences, art exploration, iPads, Spanish, music, library, physical education and weekly Chapel!
Special activities throughout the year, include our holiday parties, Operation Christmas Child Shoebox packing, hands-on Science activities, Jingle jog, dress-up Bug Day, ladybug release, hatching butterflies, exploding volcanos and much more!
Our Afternoon enrichment time consists of exploring science and technology deeper through hands on experiments and a variety of activities!

Preschool PROGRAM
Lake Worth Christian School is committed to Growing Christian Leaders already at the Pre-kindergarten level. We recognize the need to nurture the whole child, combining academics with spiritual, emotional, and personal growth.
Our program strives to be personalized. This requires a delicate balance avoiding the extremes of either a lockstep-workbook or an individualistic child-determined approach. The personalized approach allows for group and individual learning, creativity, and purposeful teacher directed strategies, which bring out student strengths. This approach allows advanced students to progress while also meeting the needs of those who develop more slowly. Being part of an elementary and high school system, we pay careful attention to sequenced program development. In an interdenominational setting, children are taught to apply traditional Biblically Christian values in our contemporary world, the children are taught by caring, certified, Christian teachers.
The Pre-kindergarten program is designed to prepare the child academically and socially for Kindergarten. A child must be 4 by September 1 to be eligible to enter Pre-kindergarten. At the center of the curriculum is the awareness that God is involved in everything that is studied, experienced, or observed. Developing appropriate language skills, investigating the environment, and coordinating different body movements are just some examples of student activities. Specialists in music, Spanish, and library enhance their weekly program.

Specials
Specialists in a variety of areas enhance the preschool program at Lake Worth Christian School. Music classes include singing and musical instruments. In Spanish, our preschoolers have an opportunity to learn vocabulary and conversation skills. Physical education enhances fine motor skills and teaches good sportsmanship and skills for team sports. Preschoolers are able to play and learn new games to play both outdoors and in our full-size gymnasium. During library time, students are introduced to a variety of types of literature and library skills, and each student will have the opportunity to discover new books that they enjoy.
